San Fran, it's love and hate baby.

Here is a pro/con list of SF

Pro Con
Lots to do Too many people
Usually fun to drive around Try finding the Bay Bridge. You can't.
Fleet Week Wind
Its a great city Too many (fill in degenerate type here)s
Everything is close by Except parking
Everything is convenient And 20 to 200 percent more expensive
Nice place to live Unless you have children.

Some of my friends have said I am scared of the city. I think that is inaccurate. It's a city, take it or leave it. If it floats your boat, great, I am happy for you. Go ahead, have a ball. I guess I am not cut out for city life.

Friday nights

Hey ladies,

Friday nights are DATE NIGHT. Not girls night out, not baby shower night, not girls discuss books or twilight or anything else. Girl friends, you are second. Husbands are first, and Friday night is not your night, girlfriend. Go out with your husband, who should be your date. Isn't your husband worth your Friday night? Think of that before you schedule your next estrogencentric activity.

A few thoughts

A friend recently asked me about guns in the home. Here is my responce:

First, a pun
Gun Control is using 2 hands.

Wyatt can load a bolt action rifle and shoot it by himself. I obviously don't keep a gun in his room.
If Wyatt wants to hold a gun, I let him. He knows a little gun safety, but at 4, he is quite incapable of understanding the full implications and immediacy of using a firearm. He knows never to point a gun at something you don't want to die. My guns are in a place where children can see but not reach them. As my boys grow, I will need to teach them more about gun safety.

more thoughts:
All other things being equal, long guns are typically safer than handguns. Special attention and training is essential for handling all guns, especially handguns. If you never have shot a handgun, don't buy one expecting to know how to handle it safely.
Also, never handle a firearm while fatigued, and NEVER store one in an unsafe manner. Don't stack 20 loaded revolvers in a safe and think they are...safe.

Quote of the Day:

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.
Thomas Jefferson

Now more than ever, we need to tell our representatives.

Just in case you all wanted to know

I have officially started work on the most exciting autobiography of all time. It should be done around the end of summer and will be, without a doubt, the most interesting story you will ever here. Do you wonder why I am the way I am? You may have a better idea soon. I say the end of summer, but it may take years until I am finished. At least I hope so. I guess there can always be a second edition.

Oh, I guess he the same as everyone else...

I actually feel sorry for people that thought they were getting something different when the voted for him. Turns out he's just like the rest of them. Saying you will get rid of earmarks in your campaign, then voting for it in your first budget, and then defending your hypocrisy. I guess I should really expect much else from someone who would suck a viable baby into a sink because it would be inconvenient for the mom to put it up for adoption. Baby killing liar, I am glad we can all see how full of crap you are.
